Packing has started

Today i finally started putting my entire life into boxes. I have been telling myself it needs doing for weeks now, but never got around to doing it. Or kept putting it off, not entirely sure which is true. Anyways, i started. And when i started, i realised that i seem to have picked up so much stuff since i moved to Manchester. When i moved down here from Glasgow over 3 years ago, everything fitted into one medium sized van. God knows what size lorry im going to need this time round. The spare room is now the offical storage room until everything gets moved into storage. Im trying to leave most stuff as it is in the flat, just packing what i dont use or dont like looking at on a daily basis for now. Its still 7 weeks to go. Alfie will be heading off on his travels to Belfast at the end of the month so thats another milestone on the way. Not looking forward to saying goodbye to him. He may only be a bird, but i have had him with me now for nearly 4 and a half years and its going to be so strange not having him with me, even if its just for the 4 weeks before i go away myself.
