Well i arrived in San Francisco all in one piece!! Flight was cool, though very long!! God knows how im going to cope flying to Sydney and Back! Got in around lunch time yesterday - tried to stay awake as long as i could and did a bit of exploring!! off to do a proper sightseeing thing today!! The weather is fab!! Its the summer i never got in the UK!!!
Had my first night sleep in a hostel!!! its well cool!!! never will i stay in a four seasons again (dont hold me to that though!!!) Its clean, comfortable and the staff are really friendly. Im probably in a bit more of a better frame of mind for it all today as well!!! yesterday i was shattered and it was a bit of a shock to the system at first. But then again thats what this trip is all about!!!

Well i had a great day yesterday!!! literally walked miles!!!! My feet are killing me!!!
Walked along by the bay, down to Fishermans Wharf. Saw where the Seals come to lie in the sun, there was literally hundreds of them!! Saw Alcatraz, but decied not to go across and seit, everyone i met says not to bother!!!! Saw the Golden Gate Bridge, its well cool. Had a nice lunch overlooking the bay and then jumped on a sightseeing bus, to go see the entire city. I was too tired to walk any further at that stage!!! Drove across the Golden Gate Bridge, and got a great view of the city from there. Have posted some pictures on Facebook for anyone to see!!!
Going to hire a bike today (Thursday) and go for a cycle around!!! Going to go across the bridge, and along the coast for a bit!!! about 16 miles in total so it might be the death of me, but i did say this trip was going to make me loose weight!!!! Slept like a baby last night, I wouldnt have woken, even for an earthquake!!! (and if there is going to be one of them, i definitely want to be awake!!)
Well, time to go off and do some more stuff.. Really enjoying not having to stick to a schedule, and enjoying being in control of what i want to do and when!!! its great!!!

Can't believe your not going to Alcatraz!!! Thats something I've always wanted to do! Go just for the experience! Have a great time and I'm so jealous of those blue skys! Love Michelle XXX
