I sit typing this in the departures lounge of Melbourne Airport. My flight to Sydney was cancelled and the next available flight they could get me on was 4 hours later. Not the end of the world really, gave me time to sort through all my photos and stuff. As long as my luggage flies with me then all will be good.
So it is time to return to Sydney, even though that is only for a few hours as i leave it again tomorrow morning first thing!
Went to Mrs Parmas last night as per the last blog. Had a parma and it was well nice. Parmas are hard to describe. the one i had was full chicken breast, flattened out completely so it was quite large, breaded and cooked. Then it has a topping on it. So i had the Greek one, which has Feta, Olives, Onions etc on it. Delicious. Look up the website - http://www.mrsparmas.com.au/ They do great beers. I loved a beer called Heads beer, or Gippsland Gold and they do gluten free beers as well, so dad could have a beer if he wanted to fly all the way around the world to have one!!!
Stayed there until about midnight and then headed back to the hostel.
Met up with Thomas and Roisin this morning. They cooked me a big Fry Up before i left of the airport which was lovely.
And then that takes me to the Airport where i have been ever since. 4 hours already and another 1.5 hours to go. But its all good.
Surf School Tomorrow. God knows what it will be like but hey ho. The weather has been changeable. One day is baking, next can be cloudy. Next can be showers. its hard to judge it really. But generally its been really good and the further north i go the hotter it will get. And if i do the centre of Australia in February, that's when it gets serious hot!!!! Will decide this week about that.
