Update

Just a short update, will do a proper one on Friday when i return to Sydney.

Nightmare journey after the last update. Bag was on the 2nd last flight of the day from Melbourne, but i was on the flight 4 hours before it. Had to wait around on the off chance it arrived on a later plane, and thankfully it did. But instead of arriving at my hostel at 5 in the afternoon as planned, it was nearly midnight.

I took a private room as i couldn't be bothered with strangers at that hour and i needed to sort my stuff out for Surf School and stuff. So at 7.30am on Monday i joined to bus to Surf Camp.

Its cool, in Gerroa, about 2 hours south of Sydney, on Seven Mile Beach (does exactly what it says on the tin!!) Day one was straight into our first lesson, and within 20minutes we were in the sea. Then it was Lunch, and the second lesson. By the end of lesson 2 i had managed to stand up on the board once. Dinner and then we all sat around and watched a movie.

Day 2 - woke up in agony as every muscle i have aches. Climbed into my wet suit, almost against my will but i did it and we were in the water by 8.30am. Then back in for lunch and out again at 1.30pm for another 2 hours. Totally wrecked now so will fill in on the detail in a few days. But its all good. There will be pictures also.
