Yosemite - continued

Tuesday - Hiking in Yosemite National Park. What an adventure. It was certainly challenging and certainly a struggle but overall today I hiked for 7 miles uphill with a 2000 foot height gain. We trekked from the bottom of Yosemite Valley, up past Vernon Falls waterfall and up over the top of Nevada Falls. The views were amazing. The walk was tough. Steep hills, rough terrain, but challenging and rewarding. Cathy, Johan and i kind of did it together, while the rest of the gang started out behind us, and overtook us when we had a lunch break up at the top. The walk down was equally challenging, but certainly an amazing experience.

Wednesday - we travelled to the other side of the park, and climbed to the top of a 10000 ft high mountain called lembert dome. The air was very thin and made it hard to breathe but oh my god what an experience. i got a bit emotional at the top, the views were so so so so so so so so so so stunning. Words cant explain how beautiful it was from up there!! pictures just dont do it justice.

have had such an amazing few days. Have hiked extreme trails, climbed rocks at 10000 feet. All things i would never dream of getting off my arse and doing at home!!! this trip already has the feeling of revitalising my life and im still only 7 full days in!!! i feel so alive for the first time in absolutely ages!!!!
