I never thought i would be saying this, but it is so so hot now. it was 30 degrees yesterday, but it was uncomfortable heat and i couldnt really stay out in it!! I went to Coogee beach fairly early, i was on the beach at 9.30am and it was getting unbearable at that stage. really nice beach, qute a small place but very pleasant. i may stay there next week when i come back. then i got the bus to Bondi beach, and tried to relax and lie in the sun, but only managed an hour of it before i couldnt take it any more. i guess i should have jumped in the sea, but i wasnt prepared for swimming. Next week, once i have been to surf school, then i will!!
Bondi was cool, lots of big waves and a really nice beach. Will go back there next week and enjoy it more.
So i headedback to Sydney on the bus, only about 20 minutes or so. I had to have a shower and a power nap and that made me feel so much better. Even by 7pm as the sun was setting it was still really really warm. happy days i gues just takes a bit of getting used to.
I think once i join the tours the heat will be more bearable. having to move around and get buses and trains and walk places in this heat is too much.
Today im hitting the shops, mainly because its what i do best, but also for their air conditioning.
Of to Melbourne tomorrow (wednesday!!)
